1. The reason I chose this story is because I feel like everyone should know how the State of the Union address last night and be informed about what our government is doing. One news value that was used was that of informing the people of how President Obama is promoting innovation and competition. Some questions that were answered were that of trying to reducing federal spending, abolishing cumbersome regulations, cutting the deficit and attempting to change the heath care law that he pushed to pass.
