The United States will not default on its obligations, but must reduce spending at the same time it raises its debt limit, House Speaker John Boehner said Sunday. Now that the house is Republican-led there are going to be many changes happening. For example, they are demanding a debt limit in order to make sure that the federal government will never go on a spending spree again. The current debt is rising by $4 million a day.
