Educational Funding Face Possible Cuts

This article is from my hometown news paper called the Daily Mountain Eagle. This article addresses the possibility of a 10 percent cut to education funding, and the concern that students will still receive adequate education. This article has news values such as impact, immediacy, proximity, conflict, and emotions. As a future educator, this could affect my chances of a job should I choose to locate in my home town. Also, I have been observing in the schools in Walker County, and they are already suffering from lack of funding. More cuts could severly hurt the teachers chances of incorrporating current technology in the classroom. I was personaly alarmed by this article, and hope that the paper follows up on the process of this potential calamity.
