I chose this originally because of its title and i couldn't find anything from my own beat that was interesting.
Alhtough the lead itself did not explain enough i believe to give me a basic outline of what its about.
News value is its impact on dog lovers and animal activists. Also Proximity the Euthanize of a lot of animals could impact jobs.
A company that bases its sales on sled dog tours. Decided since the year was slot to euthanize 100 to 300 dogs.Animal activists who caught wind decided to boycott the company who did tours through Canada.
The Actual lead mentioned boycott of sled tours not anything about animal killing.
There very well could be a follow up on the company and how they may handle this in the future. Possibly giving the dogs away. And if the boycott affected the company.
